About me

I want to transform the ways that we think about and engage in our work. For many, work is a place of stress, anxiety, and burnout. But what if work was a place that was meaningful, filled with compassion and connection with others?

My heart is to cultivate compassion across our work and relationships, and this commitment permeates my teaching, research, and consulting work.

As a teacher, I seek to help students think critically about the complexities of organizational life, the ways that their communication impacts others, and how to lead with compassion at the forefront.

In my research, I’m working to understand both (1) the challenges related to enacting and cultivating compassion in organizational spaces, and (2) effective ways to build the communicative skills needed to enact compassion.

In my consulting, I help organizations think critically about how employee well-being and compassion support organizational productivity, as well as help leaders and employees develop their own skills and emotional intelligence to interact with others in compassionate, effective ways.

Together, I know we can continue to work toward a more compassionate world.
